EosTek Hybrid Media System(HMS) is an end-to-end cloud-based stream media service platform, dedicated for operators of various kinds. HMS allows users to access the platform using smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, set-top boxes and PCs.
Using the system the user has easy access to LIVE TV programs, movies, recording and various interactive services from his TV, set-top-box or mobile devices. It’s compatible with IPTV, HbbTV and even DVB TV System.
The Hybrid Media System mainly consists of the following parts:
- Encoding & Streaming server: Single encoding/delivery workflow simultaneous delivery to multiple clients and devices
- CDN(Content Delivery Network): Live media delivery using public Internet infrastructure
- DRM(Digital Rights Management): Protect against piracy and unauthorized viewing with the highest available level of content security
- App Store: Where Consumers can access applications, and for operator’s applications management
- CMS(Content Management System): EPG(Electronic program guides) and Media sources management, SP/CP content and services convergence
- TMS(Terminal management system)：Provides complete end-to-end device management. Flexibility and safety operation supporting.
- SMS(subscribers management system)：Unified Authentication, end-to-end pre-paid payment solution enabling a wide range of new Pay TV business models including pay-per-view, pay-per-time, pay-per-channel, pay-per bouquet and pay-per subscription.
- STB(Set-top-box)：Terminal device of HMS platform, support HDMI/AV interface, high definition up to 1080P, support local media content playback and internet access with WIFI/LAN ports
